This World Bank Migrant / Refugee Survey was conducted on a sample of 1,684 asylum-seeking families in refugee/migrant centers (government-run as well as UNHCR/NGO-run) in Greece. The main objective of the survey was to facilitate the gathering of individual-level statistics on migrants and refugees in Greece to build the evidence base needed to ground the ongoing discussion around this topic on facts and data, and to inform decisions on the appropriate policy response – at the global level – for a successful economic and social integration of refugees and migrants in destination countries. In support of this objective, the survey collected  ndividual-level data on migrants/refugees in selected regions of Greece early to mid 2017. The main activity areas for Kapa Research were recruitment of field staff that meet the survey requirements in terms of fluency in the following main languages of the migrant/refugee population in Greece: Arabic and Farsi, training of field staff, sampling frame/listing, data collection using Survey Solutions CAPI, and administration of PIAAC (literacy tests) using laptop computers(n=1,013),
