Description:

SHARE is a survey on health, aging and retirement of people aged 50 and older, conducted since 2004 in 16 EU countries on a panel of over 40,000 citizens. This research program is coordinated by – among others – the University of Mannheim, the Max Plank Institute for Social Law and Social Policy, and aims to provide EU-level policy making tools on the issues of health care, social security, and ageing. Kapa Research has so far  onducted five waves of SHARE longitudinal data collection in Greece (2004, 2006, 2008, 2015, 2017) as well as pilot and pretest surveys for the 4th and 5th waves. The total sample for each wave ranged from 4,000 to 5,000 respondents, which includes a panel of minimum 2,000 respondents from previous waves. The SHARE survey is conducted using project-specific CAPI and electronic contact protocol, the Sample Management System (SMS).
